Rooted in Reverence for the Honeybee
We believe honey is a gift of living botanical chemistry, not an industrial factory commodity. Discover how Sodagar Farms champions traditional nomadic beekeeping and pure artisanal extraction.

Nomad Apiaries on the Move
Following the natural bloom of wild forest flora across northern river valleys

Restoring Pure, Living Honey to the Indian Table
For millennia, raw bee honey was revered in ancient Ayurveda as Madhu — a living, nectarous substance infused with curative bio-enzymes, floral bioflavonoids, and sacred bee pollen.
Over the last two decades, industrialization turned honey into an inverted sugar syrup business. Commercial jars on supermarket shelves are heated past 70°C to destroy crystals, micro-filtered to remove all identifying pollen, and mixed with inexpensive syrups to maximize corporate profit.
At Sodagar Farms, we chose a fundamentally different path. We practice ethical nomadic apiculture. When wild Kashmiri acacia blossoms open, our wooden hives are nestled in the hills. When Shivalik mustard and forest blossoms ignite, our colonies feast naturally on pristine nectar.
The Four Pillars of Sodagar Purity
Bee Colony First
We only harvest the surplus honey. The brood chamber is never stripped, ensuring honeybees maintain robust natural nutrition throughout the winter.
Nomadic Harmony
We migrate our hives to follow seasonal blooms across remote, pesticide-free floral belts, creating rich and distinct botanical terroir in every jar.
Scientific Proof
Trust is earned through evidence. We publish comprehensive NMR and C3/C4 isotopic laboratory reports for every harvest batch.
Living Nutrition
By keeping extraction cold and filtration gentle, we preserve every raw pollen granule, antioxidant polyphenol, and natural digestive enzyme.
